A special dinner at one of NYC's finest restaurants, The Modern, a Michelin 2-starred restaurant, will allow members to meet and talk with members of Napa Valley's first family of wine- Michael Mondavi and his son, Rob Mondavi, Jr..   Michael is the first son of Robert Mondavi, a leading California vineyard operator whose technical improvements and marketing strategies brought worldwide recognition for the wines of the California's Napa Valley. His grandfather, Cesare Mondavi, restored the historic Charles Krug winery in 1943, the year Michael was born. The Robert Mondavi Winery became a training ground for innovation and world inspiration for Michael and all of Napa Valley.

During our evening reception and dinner, Michael and Rob, will share their wealth of knowledge stories and history about California winemaking, their lives and their family wine business- Folio Wine Partners. Michael and Rob will present selected older vintages of Mondavi reserve wines from the Mondavi Family Cellar and members and guests will be treated to not only the 2014 vintage of the just released M wine, his single-vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, but also selected older vintages. To complete the magnificent evening of wines, we will also share in the yet to be released Animo wine from their Manzanita- dotted parcel high on Atlas Peak in the Vaca Mountain range of southeastern Napa Valley. Thanks to Greg Hurst for organizing this very special evening.
