Vodka and Caviar Dinner at The Russian Samovar

The Russian Samovar is filled with New York history.  It began as a celebrity hang out owned by a friend of Frank Sinatra. Originally called Jilly’s Canteen, it was the go to hot spot for the Rat Pack and many other celebrities.  The space still includes the original bar featured in the Manchurian Candidate and original artwork from the talented customers who frequented Jilly’s.  Roman Kaplan, founder of Russian Samovar, acquired the property in 1986 and was joined by friends and business partners Mikhail Baryshnikov and poet Joseph Brodsky.  Our event will take place in the private dining room, where Baryshnikov and Sarah Jessica Parker filmed scenes for Sex in the City.  We will enjoy a meal featuring authentic Russian cuisine and taste classic Vodkas, as well as selections from the Samovar’s extensive list of house made infused Vodkas, paired with specially selected caviars.
