Ian D'Agata TASTING ONLY

Ian D’Agata (www.iandagata.com) is back!  Ian will take us through a tasting of what are arguably Italy's greatest wines, Barolo and Barbaresco, ageworthy reds that while surprisingly drinkable already when young, can last fifty or more years in a good cellar without problems.

Dr. Ian D’Agata is Senior editor at Vinous, Director of the Indigena festival entirely devoted to native grapes and wines and of  the 3iC  wine and food school (the Italian International Indigenous Center for Wine and Food studies) as well as the Creative director of Collisioni's Wine Project, Italy's biggest wine, food, literature and music festival held annually in Barolo where Ian has an office and lives part of the year. An internationally acclaimed author, he is the recipent of the 2018 VQA Promoter Award (Out of Ontario section) from Canada and his Native Wine Grapes of Italy won  the 2015 Louis Roederer Book of the Year Award. An exceptionally gifted public speaker fun to listen to and  learn from, he is universally  considered the most knowledgeable Italian wine writer of his generation. To be held at The University Club.
